Do you have parts for appliances, such as ovens, washing machines, or refrigerators?

No, we stock parts for whole-house equipment: furnaces, water heaters, humidifiers, and air conditioning systems.  For all other appliances, we recommend contacting Automatic Appliance Parts, Corp. at (630) 960-2266.

Do you offer duct cleaning services?

At this time, we do not currently offer this service.  We would recommend contacting Indoor Air, Inc. at (708) 562-5213.

Do you offer parts delivery?

Yes, we offer delivery to the following towns: Bolingbrook, Burr Ridge, Clarendon Hills, Downers Grove, Darien, Hinsdale, Lisle, Naperville, Oak Brook, Westmont, Wheaton, Willowbrook, and Woodridge.  Filter delivery or parts delivery is $25, and equipment delivery is $50.

What is your return policy?

There are no returns on special order parts or electrical parts.  Non-electrical items can be returned within 30 days for no restocking fee.  A 30% restocking fee will be applied to non-electrical returns past 30 days.  Returned goods must be in the original package, unused, and in excellent condition. Exceptions to our return policy must be made in writing by a Factory Authorized Parts, Corp. manager at the time of purchase.

What is the reason behind your return policy?

We pride ourselves on finding the part that will solve your equipment issue the first time, every time. We believe that a do-it-yourself project is the most effective when guessing is eliminated.  To ensure that you purchase the correct item, we encourage you to gather as much information on the equipment as possible: model number, serial number, diagnostic codes, and symptoms.  If you anticipate many do-it-yourself projects in the future, we would also encourage you to purchase a multi-meter that measures voltage.

At this time, we also offer parts testing in our store free of charge.  If you would like to know for sure if the part you are looking to purchase is causing the issue, bring it in to our store technician.  If we determine that the part is still good, we can offer additional troubleshooting advice.

How do I know if the part I am purchasing is electrical?

If there are any wires connected to the part, it is electrical.

What types of payment do you accept?

We accept cash, check, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express.

Do you offer warranties on your parts?

Yes, we offer a one (1) year warranty on most electrical items.  Exceptions include hot surface ignitors, which receive a thirty (30) day guarantee, and circulating pumps, which receive two (2) years.  If you suspect that the part you purchased from us qualifies for a warranty exchange, please bring in the defective item along with the model and serial number of the equipment in which it was installed.

My part came in a box that is labeled "Factory Authorized Parts."  Can I call you for assistance?

One of the leading manufacturers of the HVAC industry, Bryant, labels their boxes with the words "Factory Authorized Parts."  You may know Bryant as manufacturers of Bryant, Carrier, or Payne furnaces.  You are welcome to call us (Econotemp Incorporated / Factory Authorized Parts Corporation) for assistance, but please note that we are a distributor that deals locally in the Chicagoland area.  If you are outside this area and require assistance, the customer service line for Bryant is 1-800-428-4236.
