Our Team

Andrew Curin

, President, is a Lyons Township High School alumnus and graduate of Loyola University Chicago.  His academic background includes political science and software engineering.  When he is not at the office, he thoroughly enjoys keeping up to date with his favorite sports teams.

Anne Curin

, Vice President, Anne (Graves) Curin, Vice President, is a proud Downers Grove North alumna.  She graduated in 2009 from Northwestern University with a bachelor of music in vocal performance and music education.  In 2013, she graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a master of science degree in Special Education.  When she is not at the office, she can be found playing the piano and organ at local churches, as well as providing piano accompaniment for singers and instrumentalists.

Econotemp was founded in 1979 by Anne's father Steve.  Both Andrew and Anne had the opportunity to work for several years with Steve, Anne's mother Kathryn and Anne's aunt Marilyn.  Andrew and Anne married in 2014, and in 2015 Andrew became the new owner of Econotemp. 

Some of the changes that Andrew has made to the company so far have included, but are not limited to:

  • Brand change: Lennox equipment available for in-home installations (2017)
  • Streamlining of the parts counter with a primary focus on HVAC controls (2017)
  • Appointment confirmation and reminders via e-mail (2017)
  • Digital receipts for in-home service (2016)
  • New storefront sign (2015)
  • New vehicles for our technicians (2015)
  • Uniforms for our technicians (2015)
  • iPads with credit card processing (2015)








Andrew is thrilled to have the opportunity to develop and grow Econotemp and provide both existing and new customers with the best possible HVAC experience.

Tavares Davis
General Manager

As General Manager, Tavares manages the company's HVAC service operations and parts distribution, and is responsible for upgrading technology systems.  Before joining Econotemp in 2015, Tavares worked as an IT professional for 15 years, including 8 years in the Air Force.  Tavares is new to the HVAC industry, but his time in the military has prepared him to deal with any and all challenges that comes with this industry.


Bruce Ruedlinger
Service Technician

Bruce has been employed by Econotemp for over 30 years, starting as a Service Technician in February, 1984. He is a 1978 graduate of Bolingbrook High School. After completing high school, Bruce worked for a local business, cleaning and restoring fire damaged homes. It is here where he met Steve Graves, his future employer and original owner of the company. Throughout his valuable career with Econotemp, Bruce has completed multiple vocational training and certification classes, including Hot Surface Ignition Systems, Hot Water Boilers, Commercial Rooftops, Combustion Analysis & Performance and Building Pressure Diagnostics. Through his time with Econotemp, Bruce has refined and enriched his insight of all his HVAC skills. As a knowledgeable, dynamic, compassionate employee, Bruce has provided relevant, hands on expertise to the company. In his spare time, Bruce and his wife of 32 years enjoy spending time with their two children, four grandchildren, as well as their 4-legged faithful companions.

Tina Jankuski
Service Department

My main responsibility at Econotemp is scheduling appointments and dispatching the technicians to the correct locations.  When I'm not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends.  We enjoy many outdoor activities like hiking and motorcycle riding.  My favorite hobby is photography and then scrapbooking the pictures I have taken.


Bill Bancroft
Service Technician

Bill is a Lemont native who has been an HVAC technician for over 30 years.  He graduated from Lemont Township High School and studied his trade at the Wilco Area Career Center and Cave Technical.  He is proud of his work as a technician because he has extensive experience, which makes him confident and knowledgeable.  He finds it easy to be honest about furnace and a/c diagnosis because he knows what to look for and has seen it all.  He has been an employee of Econotemp for over 30 years and specializes in older HVAC systems and sheet metal fabrication.  In his spare time, he enjoys going fishing with his wife and spending time with his three children, who are all grown.

Jason Wellington
Service Technician

Jason is a Glenbard East High School alumnus and has a history of working with his hands, whether it be working in the fields, machining, or working for high profile companies such as NASA, Kodak, and Intel.  Due to the influence of a friend and with the help of a mentor, he transitioned to the HVAC industry.  He has now been working as an HVAC technician for over 12 years.  He has seen a lot of unusual or poorly-done installations and repairs out in the field.  He enjoys being the person who gets to correct these errors while giving great customer service at the same time.  Because customer service is so important to Jason, he is proud every day of being an Econotemp employee.  The integrity of the company reflects his own, and he sleeps well knowing that every day customers appreciate him because he is honest, up-front, and fair.  When he is not at work, he enjoys spending time with his family playing baseball, bowling or watching football.
